Heather Ray

Heather is the Practice Manager at Tapia Internal Medicine Clinic. She single-handedly and passionately manages all practice operations from administrative to clinical to making sure patients receive the best possible care, and our providers can focus on practicing medicine.
She is committed to creating an environment where patients feel cared for, employees feel supported, and the practice can continue to grow while providing high-quality, compassionate care to the community.

Heather received her MBA at University of Texas at Tyler. In addition, she is a Certified Medical Office Manager and a Nationally Registered Medical Assistant.  She is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success and the Medical Group Management Association.
 
Heather is married and has 3 grown boys. When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, (especially her grandbabies), shopping and working out.  She is an avid bowhunter and enjoys spending time outdoors.
