He later received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Midwestern State University in 2021 and went on to complete his Master of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2026.
Austin is passionate about providing thorough, patient-centered care and building lasting relationships with the community he grew up in. His diverse clinical background, from bedside critical care to healthcare leadership and education, gives him a well-rounded, detail-oriented approach to caring for patients.
He enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, staying active through fitness and weightlifting, and being outdoors. He is a member of the Texas Nurse Practitioners association.
